Our experienced Master Distiller, Billy Walker – a member of Whisky Magazine’s prestigious Hall of Fame, thanks to his exceptional half-century-long career – assembled a team of passionate whisky experts at our brand home, The GlenAllachie Distillery.
Implementing his finetuned philosophies, the team work together to perfect every drop on-site until Billy deems his uncompromising standards are met for the whisky to be bottled as Meikle Tòir.
OUR BIG PURSUIT
When Billy Walker acquired The GlenAllachie Distillery in 2017, the plan was always to begin producing peated spirit – a much rarer style for the Speyside region – for around six weeks each year.
Our peated single malt has a distinctive personality and style, warranting its own brand and product range. Billy Walker and his expert team have overseen and influenced every drop of our whisky from start to finish.
